Today the sky was gloomy the whole day.. Today we witness a devoted and loving husband Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew send off his wife Madam Kwa Geok Choo at Mandai Crematorium..
There's a saying that goes "there's always a woman behind every successful man" and Mrs Lee live to that title of the wonderful woman...
I cried reading the papers on how loving they were as a couple and how devoted both were to each other... Something that's hard to find now a days..
I was brought to tears again when MM Lee gave speech at the funeral on the fondly recalls of his wife’s devotion to him.
Their 63 yrs of marriage is a good example that we should learn & follow...
It's sad that one partner had to depart earlier to Haven while the other stays and moan over his or her death..
It's sadden to see someone pass on even though the person may be suffering from an illness..
It's sad cuz the figure self no longer be there and one will never be able to see, feel, touch and sense the person anymore..
MM Lee KY placed a red rose on her coffin and bid Mrs Lee goodbye with two kisses....
