Took 3 patients..
14 acute i went fetch when suppose to be am shift doing.. Pt keep c/o chest pain on shift so did ecgSSSSS for her..
15 sick patient and i had to put in swan ganz for the patient.. Intubated to fluro rm..
16 got to send out to take a post AICD replacement pt...

Tuesday,
Took 2 patients..
14 same lady.. c/o pain but not at all at nite... Did ECG, no changes, call doc see, told to give S/L GTN... Given and immediate told me she wan water so i told her cannot till 5mins after the S/L finish.. She started crying.. Told her she's ok and don't cyr but she continues and begain to be histarical!!! I was getting angry with her behaviour when she collaped!! My god...
Resus 1hr still asystol but ECMO put in.. Another hour gone.. Then tell me send down CVL cath..
Died in the end and had to bring patient back..
15 patient's BP low from last nite.. i was so pack with 14 i really can't do much for him.. after send pt to CVL then i called the team ask for plans and doc tell me like tat loh.. i so pissed i told him off.. In the 1st place know going do nothing then don't start.. Intubate, swan.. 4 WAT????

I don't understand managements of docs anymore.. NO dinner, NO breakfast NO lunch the whole 2 days!!! Hate my work sometimes..

Anyway i also stres with a research my Sister ask me do.. I'm interested but afraid that i can't cope.. Plus she put me with a staff which i don't really communicate well with one loh.. She's so super lay back and till now did nothing and got the checks to say.. Haiz.. Just my luck.. PI of the project also like so brief with wat he wans.. I'm afraid i don't make it for this project.. But i'll try my best..
PPL laugh at me telling me "All the best" in a very fake way..

Thursday...

Got this young boy 19yrs old fly in from J.. Intubated but each time put on ventilator will be in diestress so keep bagging till i can't stand as there were still many sick pt to attend to so told them to put a higher PEEP and it help.. I suction the patient and found the suction catheter not able to advance in all so inform doc.. Later i left do other patient and not long my patient collaped.. ARRR.. They had difficulty bagging.. The bag was so tight.. I try suction same problem, informed but no1 seems to listen.. They were all out even thinking of ECMO.. My goodness.. AGAIN!!! But its 9 so hand over already.. Next day found out they struggle 4 the next 4hrs finding out after a brok tat it's ETT block with lots of blood clots.. Well tat explains the catheter not able to advance and later the doc recall me telling them TAT...!!!

13th Sept 08 My 1st Experiance nursing VVVIP..

Was on nite and having bad tummy ache when i reach the ward so i changed and headed straight to the toilet when i reached the ward.. When i was out nai ma told me Mar u going up to work... My heart sink for a moment as i thought "WAT!!! My god to wd 47 taking 24 patients... Arr..." Then the others said to VIP ward!!! Was a moment of relieve but when i got to know who i'm nursing my adralinen rush came again.. I was like wat.. I'mm the most junior wor.. Why pick me but didn't inform me 2lier.. But still i had to go.. After i ask of wat was done to VIP in CCU i headed up to the ward..

My heart was pounding real fast as i walk to ward 78.. My 1st time nursing a VIP and it got to be such a big VVVIP.. I cross my finger as i hope i don't make any mistake or do something silly when i nurse the vip..

The VIP turn out to be real humble and nice.. Smile and appriciates ur help by thanking u and also is real independent for the age.. When i offer to help the vip would say "No i got to do it myself.. I got to be independent and not relay on others.."
i fumble a little as i took a MANUAL BP as it's been years since i last did one.. My goodness.. The ward only got one auto BP set which is send for repair...!!! Luckly BP taking was changed to 6hrly from hourly... Vip was nice and joke too..

Overall it was mentally stressful but i'm greatful to be given this learning opportunity to learn and meet this great person...

It's a magnificent structure.. It's so tall and it makes one wonder if it's really safe... Look at its construction at the above web site..

Headlines was made on our Sec sch as its plans was to make it into a workers dormitory..
Seeing images of the sch on news and the papers brings back memories and its a wired kind of feeling..
There were memories of the times where we trained hard for SJAB competition, the fun we had at training and bring friendships together.. The sour and misunderstanding friendship made.. The camps we attended in sch (Broke Sok's glasses =*Ops , the flying fox, sweat...)
The tough times we had 'studying' and not attending chinese classes in morning so as to spend time 4 courtship.. The times when after sch we'll go out eat and spend all our pocket $ on food..
The times when we had feelings and eyeing on guys..
The sweet and sour 1st love which embedded deep inside my heart...
Lots and lots which happen within the 4 years there made a huge impact in my life and made me who i'm today...

There goes the old and not working stuff..

This is my 1st hi fi set.. A gift after my O level.. A gift from dad.. Although all other things is not working except for the radio but still i don't wan give it away.. Call me sentimental but dad call me rubbish collector.. =*p


The 1st tv i bought with my own money.. Place in my room, Still in good working condition but but it got to go to make way for...

The fav coconut drink i never miss when i go over... It's so cold that it froze inside the fridge unopen.. And the parrot said in Chinese "Ni Hao Ma, Ni Ho" but when i tried film it it stop..
